Phases of Inspections

Phase One

Pre-Drywall

Phase Two

Final Phase

Phase Three

Warranty

The best way to ensure your new construction home meets the standards you deserve is to have inspections done throughout the entire process by people who are otherwise unaffiliated with the project.

Professional inspections will hold your builder accountable for defects or less-than-standard levels of workmanship.

There are three phases of inspections for new construction homes.  A pre-drywall inspection, final construction inspection, and 1-year builder warranty inspection ensures you have expert, unbiased eyes evaluating your home at every phase.

Each phase can be done independently, however, we encourage all 3 phases for your new home.

PHASE ONE

Pre-Drywall Inspections

This inspection is done right before drywall goes up. This means all plumbing, electrical, windows, roof, doors, and framing are done.

This inspection is essential because once the drywall goes up, defects or other issues may not be able to be detected.

Our inspectors check for code compliance and look for proper installation.

Here are some points included in each pre-drywall inspection:

PHASE TWO

Final Inspections

This inspection is done once everything is complete, and before the walkthrough with the builder. We help determine what can be added to the builder's final task list of repairs before closing begins.

We will help you make sure your home is as flawless as possible.
PHASE THREE

Warranty Inspections

With the completion of your new home, a builder will often offer a one-year builder's warranty. We call this the 11th-month inspection, and it is your chance to take advantage of the warranty while it lasts.
